Doctor Bleu A. Huxford - Providing Dentist
Hello! I’m Dr. Bleu Huxford. Since the name Dr. Huxford has already been claimed, you can just call me Dr. Bleu. I have spent most of my life here in Boulder City or surrounding areas. Other than the four years we spent away while my dad was attending dental school, I spent most of my childhood playing on the playgrounds of Andrew J Mitchell, Martha P. King, and Veteran’s memorial. I played on the Jr. Eagles football and wrestling teams at Garrett Jr. High. I spent my four years at BCHS playing Football, Wrestling, and participating in Track and Field.
After high school, I attended Southern Utah University to pursue a degree in Biology. Along with my studies, I spent time following my other passions in the outdoors; including archery, snowboarding, fishing, and riding my horses. After completing my degree in Southern Utah, I was accepted to dental school at UNLV where I had the privilege of learning the art of dentistry. There, I had the opportunity to treat a wide variety of patients including Spanish and Portuguese speaking patients.
Boulder City is in my family’s blood. I am excited to be back in Boulder City, not only as a Dentist, but to raise my children here, and become an active member of the community once again. I look forward to bringing beautiful smiles to Boulder City by providing the best and most up to date treatment available.
Dr. Andrew J. Huxford - Owner Dentist
Dr. Andrew Huxford grew up in Oregon where he worked on a farm as a kid. He graduated from Southern Utah University and became a High School teacher in Physical Education and Science, ultimately receiving a Masters Degree in Education at UNLV.
After 8 years of teaching, Dr. Huxford decided to make a career change into the field of dentistry, so he returned to school and received the pre-med degree that would qualify him for dental school. He and his wife Rachelle moved to Colorado where they spent the next four years at the University of Colorado. They relocated to Boulder City in 1991 and opened Boulder Dental Group in 2003! He then decided to open up another practice, Downtown Dental.
Dr. Huxford loves to wake board, bike, fly airplanes and ride horses. He and Rachelle have five beautiful children who love spending time outdoors as a family.
Evelyn Robb - Dental Assistant
Evelyn has been a Boulder City resident since 1991 and has raised her family here. She has worked in the dental profession for 36 years and has been with Dr. Huxford for 15 of those years since opening his original dental practice with him in 2005. Her passion for dentistry and care of her patients is a priority and she works hard at providing a positive experience for every patient. You'll most likely catch her singing along with the music whenever you visit our office. She is very proficient in expanded dental skills along with her ability to explain treatment in detail to patients so they can fully understand their options. When she is not working you will catch her whizzing by you on the ski slope or waving at you as she passes by while boating at Lake Mead. Evelyn also enjoys travel and is always looking forward to her next adventure.

Karen Bray - Office Manager
Karen’s career in the dental field started through the American Red Cross in Pearl Harbor, HI earning a certificate in dental assisting in 1979. She continued working as a dental assistant for many years in Florida and Georgia. She then became interested in the business side of a dental practice and moved into that role. Karen was Office Administrator for many years in Missouri before moving to Boulder City, NV to be closer to family. She feels blessed to be part of Downtown Dental. Dr. Huxford is not only a great dentist but wonderful to work for. Since moving to Boulder City, her favorite pastime is spending time with her family making wonderful memories.
