Dental Crowns

When a tooth is severely damaged, decayed, or misshapen, a crown - often called a "cap" - can be placed over the entire tooth to restore its original shape, size, and function.  At Downtown Dental we offer a choice between porcelain and zirconia crowns. Choosing the right one depends on several factors, including the tooth's location, the amount of chewing force it endures, and your personal aesthetic goals. During your consultation, we will explain the pros and cons of both porcelain and zirconia crowns in detail, and together we will determine which material is the ideal choice for your specific situation. Our goal is to ensure you receive a crown that not only looks beautiful but also provides the strength and longevity you need for a healthy, confident smile.

Tooth Implant

A dental implant is essentially a replacement for a natural tooth root. It is made of a biocompatible material, most often titanium, that is surgically placed into your jawbone.  This post serves as a stable anchor for a custom-made replacement tooth, known as a crown.  Dental implants are designed to feel function, and look just like your natural teeth.

Root Canal

A root canal is a common and highly effective dental procedure that saves a tooth that has become severely infected or decayed.  When the inner part of a tooth, known as the pulp, becomes inflamed or infected, it can cause significant pain and lead to tooth loss.  Root canal therapy is the treatment used to removed the infected pulp, clean and disinfect the inside of the tooth, and then fill and seal it to prevent future infection.

Dentures

If you are missing some or all of your teeth, dentures offer a reliable, functional, and aesthetic solution to restore your smile.  Today's dentures are custom-made using advanced materials and techniques, ensuring a comfortable fit and a natural-looking appearance.  We offer both partial and complete dentures to meet your specific needs.

Bridges

A dental bridge is a time-tested and effective solution for replacing one or more missing teeth.  As the name suggests, a bridge "bridges" the gap created by a missing tooth, restoring your smile's function and appearance.  It's a fixed, non-removable appliance that can help you eat, speak, and smile with renewed confidence.

The goal of restorative dentistry focuses on saving and repairing your teeth.
